![]() TeamViewer support is obviously lying about a breach as multiple users have seen active login sessions from China. The user name that appeared was even more shocking, it was. Im like what the heck Then the person successfully logged on. Several TeamViewer users have reported unauthorized access over the last few days, leading some to suspect that the remote connection company has been hacked. TeamViewer full version + Host module log. Hi all, I was up late tonight and noticed that suddenly TeamViewer popped up on the screen while watching a movie on my second monitor. Nonetheless, the login session will have had access to my computer and could have done anything, but I assume since nobody got in contact with me there was no suspicious activity. 1- Access TeamViewer log files on Windows: Click on the tool kit symbol in the upper right corner > Open Logfiles. ![]() Luckily, I was not logged onto my user account on the PC due to the people repairing my PC being on an Admin account that I never use, which will not have my passwords stored within chrome. My PC was offline when I went to look today so I assume when TeamViewer is booted again (which it is by default on my PC) it will fail to connect to the servers, at least I hope. Since I can't close the software on my PC with it being out of my hands, I figured this was the best way to remove access from anyone via TeamViewer. I disabled their login session and immediately deactivated my TeamViewer account completely. ![]() ![]() My computer has been away in repairs for the last 5 days but TeamViewer has been running while they were attempting to repair the PC. I went to look at my active login sessions and there was a session 2 days ago from China. Windows 10 upgrade fortuitously saves TeamViewer user from being hacked. ![]()
